FREE Kids off-road ride!
We've organised a short off-road bike ride for the kids - nice and tame, keeping to the farms tractor lanes. The loop will be just over a mile long but they can ride it as many times as they like.

Come along and let the whole family explore the farm on their bikes! It doesn’t matter how old they are or how well they cycle, they can do as much or as little as they like. They’ll have a ride number to make them feel special, as well as getting a certificate, sticker and drinks at the end.

You can ride from 4.45pm.

There's plenty of walks around the farm and lots of wildlife to look out for, we'll have a football, frisby and space hoppers to keep them entertained too!

Camp: Kids love camping so why not make a night of it? Camping is £3 for adults and £2 for kids, just pay on the day.

Kids should be accompanied. Older, confident children can cycle on their on at the descretion of a parent.

Rider Support

Need help fixing a mechanical? Or just need bringing back to the HQ?
We have a first aider as well as rider support and spares providing you back up if you need it.

Professional photo's, brilliantly priced!
Fotoswan are our photographers again, it's always a pleasure to look through the online gallery after the event... with images from £4.95.

They'll be food on the BBQ ready for your return - including healthy options and always something for vegans and riders with allergies.

We have a huge space to work with so come along anytime on the Saturday to set up your tent - there's no rush to leave in the morning either so stay and enjoy a cuppa and light breakfast with us. There's plenty of walks around Roves Farm if you want to explore and you can always get back on your bike for another ride!

The route follows tarmac roads suitable for road bikes but care will need to be taken to avoid the occasional pothole. Dusk is at around 9.30pm so good lights and Reflective/Light coloured clothing is compulsory.

Twilight Tour Extra - 72 miles (116km) Unofficial extension

Elevation Gain ‐ 3,541ft

We offered the 72 mile route last year but as so few attempted it, we just can't justify the time and fuel to sign and marshal the extra miles. You are still more than welcome to do  the 'Extra' miles using your own navigation (online map available and GPX downloadable nearer the event date). Just let us know on the day what your plans are - it is a gorgeous route!

We advise only attempt the 72 miles if you're sure you can get back by 11pm (you don't want to miss out on the BBQ). Also don't attempt it if you're known for getting lost!

The route split is just after the 'Hydration Station' about 34 miles in, this will be signposted. We will also still provide mechanical back-up on route.

Want to be part of the fun but aren't able to ride? We need volunteers!
Give us a helping hand for an hour or so and enjoy the BBQ and camping for free.

The Details

Bring a change of clothes and a jumper/coat or blanket so you can enjoy the BBQ and drinks at the finish in comfort.

Camping is £2 extra which includes any morning hot drinks and some light breakfast items. You'll have access to toilets and running water but there will be no showers - so you might want to bring some wet wipes!

We'll have a few but bring your own torch as well if you can.

There's no need to hurry getting things together in the morning either - Roves Farm are happy for us to stay as long as we want on the Sunday.

If you fancy a few beers please bring your own, unfortunately we don't have a license to sell alcohol.

Bikes and personal possessions are your responsibility and left at your own risk.

Friends and family welcome - we'll have the bike trail for the kids and a lot of space for them to play in. For those not taking part in Twilight Tour:
Camping is £3 adults, £2 kids. Just pay for camping and food on the day.

Let us know your coming - email me so we have an idea of numbers -

Attention: Some of the lanes are narrow in places and you will have to navigate around the occasional pothole. We will have warning signs and road markings near any potential hazards. Distances are approximate and routes may be subject to last minute changes.
