Come along and let the whole family explore the farm on their bikes! It doesn’t matter how old they are or how well they cycle, they can do as much or as little as they like. They’ll have a ride number to make them feel special, as well as getting a certificate, sticker and drinks at the end.
You can ride from 4.45pm.
There's plenty of walks around the farm and lots of wildlife to look out for, we'll have a football, frisby and space hoppers to keep them entertained too!
Camp: Kids love camping so why not make a night of it? Camping is £3 for adults and £2 for kids, just pay on the day.
Kids should be accompanied. Older, confident children can cycle on their on at the descretion of a parent.
Rider Support
Need help fixing a mechanical? Or just need bringing back to the HQ?
We have a first aider as well as rider support and spares providing you back up if you need it.
Photography
Professional photo's, brilliantly priced!
Fotoswan are our photographers again, it's always a pleasure to look through the online gallery after the event... with images from £4.95.
BBQ
They'll be food on the BBQ ready for your return - including healthy options and always something for vegans and riders with allergies.Camp
We have a huge space to work with so come along anytime on the Saturday to set up your tent - there's no rush to leave in the morning either so stay and enjoy a cuppa and light breakfast with us. There's plenty of walks around Roves Farm if you want to explore and you can always get back on your bike for another ride!Route
The route follows tarmac roads suitable for road bikes but care will need to be taken to avoid the occasional pothole. Dusk is at around 9.30pm so good lights and Reflective/Light coloured clothing is compulsory.Elevation Gain ‐ 3,541ft
We offered the 72 mile route last year but as so few attempted it, we just can't justify the time and fuel to sign and marshal the extra miles. You are still more than welcome to do the 'Extra' miles using your own navigation (online map available and GPX downloadable nearer the event date). Just let us know on the day what your plans are - it is a gorgeous route!
We advise only attempt the 72 miles if you're sure you can get back by 11pm (you don't want to miss out on the BBQ). Also don't attempt it if you're known for getting lost!
The route split is just after the 'Hydration Station' about 34 miles in, this will be signposted. We will also still provide mechanical back-up on route.
