The fine print...


The Participant is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions upon completion of the Registry Form.


The participant accepts our events are not in any way races. There are no winners and results will be published in alphabetical order only.
The participant is solely responsible for their own actions whether at the event village or during the ride. Giveitsome cannot accept responsibility for the actions and subsequent consequences, of the participant.
The participant agrees that they are physically and mentally capable of riding the distance they have chosen. The participant is aware of the nature of the Event and associated medical and physical risks involved.
While GiveItSome takes every care organising the Event, the Participant acknowledges that personal accident and personal items insurance is his or her sole responsibility. Each participant will be fully responsible for any fees or costs incurred or arising from an accident either involving or caused by the rider.
GiveItSome will not be liable for any actions of any spectators or other third parties.
The Event Registration Form must be completed by a person aged 18 years or over. Evidence of age may be requested. Participants under the age of 18 years will be allowed to participate in the event with the consent of their parent or legal guardian who must sign the Event Registration Form on their behalf. Under 16’s will need to be accompanied at all times by an adult who is responsible for them.
While the Event Organiser takes every care with the staging of the Event, the Participant acknowledges that personal accident and personal items insurance is his or her sole responsibility.
It is mandatory to use a roadworthy bicycle and safety approved helmet. GiveItSome reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone with inappropriate equipment. The participant confirms that the cycle/bike they are riding for the event and all of their equipment is of a safe and suitable standard.
Any marked route is shown for guidance only. Give It Some do not insist that you use the route shown, the rider can choose to keep to the signed route or not, entirely at their own risk.
All cyclists must obey the Highway Code, local By laws and laws of England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland. You are requested to ride in single file where appropriate and show reasonable courtesy to other road and off road users. Please always indicate your intention to stop or change direction.
Each participant agrees to grant GiveItSome permission to use and publish any photographs/videos taken at an GiveItSome event. The participant releases GiveItSome from all liability from such use and authorises the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage and/or distribution of said photographs/videos without limitation, at the discretion of GiveItSome. The participant specifically waives any right to any compensation they may have for appearing in any of the photographs/videos.
The participants agree to return or call the Event Centre before the close of the Event and report to a member of staff. In not doing so, any costs involved in organising a search will be the participants responsibility.
Event entry fees can not be refunded under any circumstances. GiveItSome reserves the right to cancel any event due to extreme weather conditions. The participants entry will be moved to the rescheduled date. If a Participant can not make this event, they can carry their entry to another event of an equal or lower price.
The Participant accepts that any mechanical support received to their bike from Organisers, participants or other third parties is at the Participant's own discretion and they will not hold anyone else responsible for any subsequent bike malfunctions or resulting injury. The Participants accept that should their bike be transferred in any vehicle during the event, such as the paddy wagon, it is placed and transferred in the vehicle at their own risk.
